Born into the myriad uncertainties of October 2020, the LERNER Conservation Project represented a tangible and pragmatic departure traditional conservation mechanisms, as well as a means to celebrate the birthday of a certain family member. Since then, the project has continued to blossom, although the blossom remains somewhat small.

Today, LCP remains committed to carrying out its mission while respecting the historicities of environmentalism and its interplay with local communities.
